Baking Camp! July 24th-28th

Hi, I'm Rebecca Benedid, the owner of Rebecca Bakes! I'm a pastry chef who loves to make sweet treats that look and taste amazing. I studied pastry arts at George Brown College and have been running my own home bakery in Thornhill for over 10 years now. I make custom cakes, macarons, and my famous napoleons that everyone loves!

As a mom of five kids, I know how important it is to make treats that people of all ages will enjoy. People often ask me to create special desserts for their birthdays and other celebrations, and I love coming up with new ideas to make their events extra special. I pay close attention to every detail to make sure my treats look and taste just perfect.

 I love teaching and sharing what I've learned so everyone can have fun baking and creating something amazing! Looking for to seeing you all this summer💕

Does you have a Junior Chef at home who loves baking and experimenting? In this fun filled baking & decorating program, campers will learn the basics of baking including proper measuring and mixing techniques as well as food science facts that affect their final product. Our Mini Chefs will discover the many ways dishes can be both sweet and savory. Special decorating workshops with fondant and icing will also be a fun aspect of this specialty program. Each camper will also get their own custom JCK apron!

We hope this week will encourage your young chef to pick up the whisk more at home and whip up delicious and satisfying treats for their families.

Camp includes 2-3 hours of baking and decorating dancing, singing plus all the JCK fun (Art, Creative Food Art, Silly Science, Theme and dress up days, Camp Carnival and more!
