Meet the Team! Sunday Program


Jess Rabin- 1 Viewmount Dance Classes

Jessica Rabin began dancing at the age of three and has continued to build her love of dance ever since. She is currently a student at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Creative Industries program. Jessica trained at Dance Sensation in Richmond Hill and got other extensive training through arts programs in middle and high school. Jessica loves working with children, sparking their creativity in a fun and exciting environment for kids to learn and grow.

Shaina Heuberger- Art Specialist- 1 Viewmount

Shaina is a professional art teacher who loves teaching skills to young artists. Originally from the UK she earned her BSc Hons in Software Systems for Arts and Media, University of Hertfordshire, UK. As well, she earned her MBA from  Webster University in Regents University, London. 

She is certified in City & Guild Certificate in Film & TV Production, City & Islington College, London, UK. 

She has taught art and design in colleges and participated in art exhibitions.  As a retired teacher she likes to dedicate her schedule to teaching part time and now at our Sunday program! 



Mark Bernstein- Preschool Boys Sports Coach- 1 Viewmount

Mark is a sought after Sports Coach. He has experience working with children of all ages and has worked for 10-10 sports as well as with VIBE dance and fitness studio teaching Breakdancing. Mark is the founder of On-Your-Mark and currently teaches sports workshops in schools and camps. 

Adele Finkelstein- Silly Science- 1 Viewmount

Hi! My name is Adele Finkelstein and I am super excited to be joining JCK this fall as a preschool silly science staff and the assistant on-site supervisor for the Viewmount location. I love science and working with children. I just graduated from the Behavioural Science Program at George Brown College and now I’m headed to York University to study Psychology. In the past, I have tutored children in many subjects, worked at Moshava beir, worked at Kayla’s Children Centre and volunteered at Centennial Infant and Child centre. I’m looking forward to a great fall semester and I can’t wait to do all the fun science projects with everyone!

Keren Barach- Musical Theatre / Dance Teacher -18 Atkinson

Keren Barak is a graduate of the Victoria International Ballet Academy. She holds an Artiste de Ballet diploma, a B1 Zumba License, as well as certificates in Power Circuit and Bodyworks plus Abs from LA Fitness.

She is trained in Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Character Dance, Hip-Hop, and Salsa. Keren also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Film from York University and works as an actress in the Toronto Film Industry.

Upon graduation, Keren has participated in a variety of dance and theatre shows in York University, Karpov Ballet Academy, as well as other independent productions.  She is always exploring different ways of finding the love of dance in everyone who comes her way! Keren recently directed our Musical Production: Trolls: Shine Bright! 

She is looking forward to an amazing Fall program with JCK!

Milka Beker

Milka Beker has been with JCK for 8 years! She studied theatre at York University, focusing on Drama Education and Children Studies. She is passionate about the Arts and is excited to bring her creativity and spunk to the Sunday program!
