Nataliya Kiselova- Dance Teacher South

Hi! My name is Nataliya Kiselova. Let me introduce myself. 
I am a dance teacher from Lviv, Ukraine. I love kids, and in my opinion, kids are the best students. 
I have been dancing for all my life. I started to dance in grade 1. I have danced for 10 years in the famous one troop "Yunist". 
After I graduated from High school, I worked in "Zankovetska" theater of opera and ballet as a dancer as well I worked  as a dancer in a circus.
In Canada, I worked as a choreographer for:
Ace Art Studio,
Bravo Academy for performing Art,
Star School Academy, YL dance studio.
I'm very dedicated to the art of dance, and I'm able to work with students of all ages.

Keren Barak- On site supervisor/ Dance head (South)

On site supervisor/ Co- Dance Teacher (First half of the session)

Keren will be joining us in assisting Nataliya the first half of the program and ensuring a fun filled program for all!

Keren Barak is a graduate of the Victoria International Ballet Academy. She holds an Artiste de Ballet diploma, a B1 Zumba License, as well as certificates in Power Circuit and Bodyworks plus Abs from LA Fitness. 

She is trained in Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Character Dance, Hip-Hop, and Salsa. Keren also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Film from York University and works as an actress in the Toronto Film Industry.

Upon graduation, Keren has participated in a variety of dance and theatre shows in York University, Karpov Ballet Academy, as well as other independent productions.

Keren has been a full-time instructor since 2010. She has worked in several dance studios, gymnastics clubs, daycares, private schools, after-school programs, community centres and gyms all over Ontario. She is very comfortable with working with toddlers and children as well as adults and seniors.

Her passion has always been performance, and Keren is very enthusiastic in igniting this passion in her students. She is always exploring different ways of finding the love of dance in everyone who comes her way!

While following her artistic dreams, Keren has also found a new passion for law. She is currently a licensed paralegal and is preparing to apply for law school.​ 

She is looking forward to her summer at JCK Camps!

Rachel Kantakyer- Silly Science & Creative Crafts- (South)

Rachel Karantayer is a Marketing Manager by day and Professional Artist by night. She is currently studying to become a qualifying Psychotherapist and Art Therapist. As a future Art Therapist, Art Instructor, Visual Artist and Recreation Therapist, Rachel has been teaching art in a holistic setting for the past 4 years and creating since the age of 3 as well as Jewelry making and Fashion workshops. With her background in Recreation Therapy, she finds harmony in helping others learn about themselves, learn about their potential as artists, and often, heal through art. Rachel instructs visual art and creative wellness classes for students of all ages, with experience teaching children, adults and seniors on both a municipal level as well as within the York Region District School Board. Rachel creates art commissions and teaches visual art across the GTA and online, and her award-winning art has been featured in several exhibitions city-wide. She is looking forward to teaching our Silly Science and Creative Crafts program in a fun filled way!

Maddie Shahab- Active Games+ Creative Crafts (North)

Maddie has been working with JCK for the past year. She is passionate about working with children and is looking forward to implementing JCK's popular active games and creating a fun active environment at our Sunday morning active program.

Maddie will also be leading the Creative Crafts program. She is looking forward to a fun filled session at our North location!

Carly Siegel- Active Games+ Creative Crafts (North)

Carly Siegel has been working at JCK as an assistant logistics coordinator. We can always count on Carly to set up every program and organize our activities bags.  She looks forward to a fun filled Winter Session at our North location!
